But much as we love a happy ending from a handsome mixologist let’s start at the beginning … For this is actually the story of a man, a chef, and passionate whisky lover [ FYI all the same person ] who dreamed of offering us all a curated experience of Scotland’s finest flavours.
This rather spiritual ambition is now a reality, as Colin Hinds launching Tipsy Midgie, his very own Whisky & Gin Drinkery. Here you can experience amazing whiskies – unicorns old & rare, plus distillery exclusives – and imbibe Scotland’s best gins.
Even more exciting, is a unique opportunity to view one’s life-long mission to drink both quality and quantity as highly educational. In other words, there’s a series of liquid events to tantalise the palette:
DISTILLERY DISCOVERY THURSDAYS – each week a different distillery, five sumptuous drams, and a brand ambassador offering a personal insight into why sobriety is just SO over-rated.
CHOCOLATE PAIRING TUESDAY – enjoy five unique single malts, paired with the wonderful creations of Master Chocolate Maker Sebastian Kobelt. SCHWINNNGGG!!
And FLIGHT CLUB SUNDAYS – making the most of Colin’s enormous collection [ not a euphemism ] this blind tasting of five stunning whiskies features flavours that are old, modern & utterly fabulous.
Our advice: BOOK NOW, avoid disappointment! This Midgie is not only tipsy, but a seductive, inspiring experience. And BTW, it’s also a must to get your lips around one of Colin’s chocolate truffles – WOWSERS!
